WBF Champions honoured at the 23rd Annual Gabriel ‘Flash’ Elorde Boxing Awards in the Philippines

Launched in the year 2000, the Gabriel ‘Flash’ Elorde Boxing Awards and Champions Banquet red carpet Awards Night has been an annual event that is always attended by the who’s who of Boxing in the Philippines.

And yes of course at this year’s Awards from the Okada Manilla Grand Ballroom in Manilla, the so dubbed Philippines WBF ‘Super 6’ of 2022 were also in attendance and were recognised for their WBF Championship achievements across various weight classes.

• Jake Amparo – WBF Asia Pacific Minimumweight Champion
• Lito Dante – WBF International Minimumweight Champion
• Jhunrille Castino – WBF Asia Pacific Bantamweight Champion
• Jhunrick Carcedo – WBF Asia Pacific Super Lightweight Champion
• Al Toyogon – WBF Asia Pacific Lightweight Champion
• Kit Ceron Garces – WBF Australasian Flyweight Champion

Also in attendance, WBF Asia Pacific Vice President Mr Alvin S. Go and WBF Philippines Coordinator Rica ‘Baby Dynamite’ Aquino.

An incredible annual event recognising the effort, sacrifices and achievements of the Philippines most outstanding Boxers both past and present and one that will be attended by boxing royalty such as living legend Manny Pacquiao for many years to come.
