Singh is the new Australasian King

Kiran Boxing Promotions were responsible for creating history at Prince Charles Park in Nadi, Fiji Saturday 30th November. A Huge Promotion attended by almost 3000 people who were witness to a great night of professional boxing that for the first time in Fijian history hosted two WBF Championship Titles. The vacant WBF Australasian Heavyweight title and the vacant WBF Australasian Super Welterweight title were contested by four Fijians vying for Championship glory.

In the Heavyweights, James 'The Beast' Singh faced former WBF Australasian title challenger Jonasa Kavika who looked to be in control and strong and looked strong in the early rounds but tired in the middle rounds to allow Singh to step up the pace and poor on the pressure sensing that Kavika was slowing down and at 1 minute 45 seconds of the seventh round after a flurry of heavy shots from Singh, Kavika went down and struggled to make the count but the referee had seen enough and waived it away declaring James Singh the winner by way of KO and new WBF Australasian Heavyweight Champion. Singh has now also earnt himself Fiji's No 1 Heavyweight Ranking.
