WBF North American Region News

The World Boxing Foundation North American Region has been very busy sanctioning great professional fights across the country. On April 27th, it was a barn-burner in Dallas, Texas as Elvin Ayala took on Junior Castillo for the vacant WBF Middleweight World Title. This contest was a back and forth battle with Junior Castillo landing the cleaner punches, coming out on top and earning the unanimous decision increasing his professional record to 14-1.

Then on April 27th, it was Madison, Wisconsin and Supreme Hits Boxing. Deontae “Bomaye” Wilson was victorious in his fight as he dominated and out-classed Corben Page earning the lopsided unanimous decision and securing the WBF Super Lightweight USA Title. Also on this card was the return of undefeated WBF Super Featherweight World Champion, Duarn “The Storm” Vue as he took on a game Miguel Angel Mendoza. This fight was an energy packed contest as both fighters were able to impose their will forcing each fighter to adapt. Both fighters landing good shots as this was a bruising war. In the end, Duarn “The Storm” Vue pulled out the victory as his ring generalship and punches in bunches proved to be too much for the game Mendoza.
