Cintron Claims vacant WBF United States Super Welterweight Title

Former IBF and WBO World Champion Kermit ‘The Killer’ Cintron has been crowned the new WBF World Boxing Foundation United States Super Welterweight Champion in style with a TKO victory over durable Manny Woods at the Santanda Arena, Pennsylvania USA on Friday September 9th 2016.

The Championship bout that was promoted by Marshall Kauffman of ‘Kings Promotions’ was a televised event on Spike TV USA and on the undercard of the IBF World Lightweight Title Robert Easter Jr (W SD) Richard Commey as well as the WBA World Middleweight Title Daniel Jacobs (W TKO) Sergio Mora.

In what was an absolute war whilst it lasted, both combatants definitely came to fight with both receiving cuts and bruises throughout the duration of the bout.
