Last night Luke “Cool Hand” Moloney of Reservoir won the Australasian Super Middleweight Title with a unanimous points decision against Johannes “Tito” Mwetupunga of Blackburn bringing his record to 11-3. Final scorecards read Henry Nissen 96-94, Jeff Eddy 98-92 and Chris Anderson 94-96. The bout was refereed by Tony Marretta. Although Moloney emerged victorious, the atmosphere was intense with both fighters slugging it out over the ten rounds in an exciting display of boxing which kept the crowd on the edge of their seats throughout the bout.

Former Kenyan, East & Central Africa and WBF Intercontinental champion David Kiilu (28-8-2, 15 KOs) will move down in weight to fight undefeated Ludumo Galada (11-0, 4 KOs) for the vacant WBF featherweight title on August 22 at the Orient Theatre in East London, South Africa, a title Kiilu has previously challenged for without luck.
