Shane Cameron won his 17th professional fight in Christchurch with a 9th round TKO when his opponent Osborne Machimana from South Africa stayed in his corner at the sounding of the bell, Cameron had his opponent down twice in the fight but could not keep his opponent down and the end did not come as a suprise to the 2000 people attending the first professional championship fight in Christchurch for well over 30 years.
