Despite Jackson Asiku signing a contract at the press conference at the Ricoh Arena to announce the fight on October the 20th, Kevin Houston of HSI couldn’t come to terms with the management team of Jackson Asiku and unfortunately Jackson has been taken off of the bill at the Ricoh Arena on the 5th December.

Roy Rutherford will still be on the show but now he will be fighting the impressive Mongolian Choi Tseveenpurev for Choi’s WBF featherweight belt, making it a double header of WBF title fights with Yoddamrong Sithyodthong meeting Harry Ramogoadi for the vacant super-featherweight title.

Promoter Kevin Houston makes his return to boxing on December 5th when he puts on the ‘King’s Cup’ a spectacular dinner show at the Ricoh Arena, home of Coventry City football club to celebrate the King of Thailand’s birthday.

The two-hundred table show will feature the former WBA super-bantamweight champion Yoddamrong Sithyodthong challenging for the vacant WBF super-featherweight belt against the Coventry based South African Harry Ramogoadi.

At a recent Past and Present Boxers Boxers Association meeting in Melbourne, Australia, WBF President Mick Croucher with fellow WBF members Jack Rennie & John Wheeler presented the award to Mr Mario Magris for his dedicated services to boxing.

Mario was born 4.6.1944 in Trieste, Italy arriving in Australia on his 10th birthday. He started amateur boxing when he was 12 years of age and became a Victorian amateur champion.
